This week-long workshop covers Workplace Insurance Level I Rights and Obligations and Level II Benefits and Services. Participants explore compensation law, jurisprudence, WSIB policies and technical information. As well, participants will examine Ontario's disability dilemma and strategies for prevention. In this week-long course participants will examine medical testing and interpret medical information found in claim files. They will learn medical terminology and human anatomy with attention to the different organ systems, specific injuries involving the back, bone, MSI and disorders such as chronic pain and fibromyalgia.
