2024 Fall Eastern Ontario Health and Safety Labour Education at Isaiah Tubbs Resort, West Lake, Picton, ON

November 5 or 6 to November 10, 2024

Except for Course #4, which starts Tuesday, Nov 5, 2024, all courses begin on the evening of Wednesday, Nov 6, 2024 immediately following the opening assembly at 7:30 pm (you must attend). Classes are held from 8:30 am to 5 pm from Thursday onward, except Sunday when they are from 9 am to noon. Please note there may be evening course work and general sessions which you may be required to attend.

Deadline for paid registration: October 11, 2024.

COURSES OFFERED (All courses offered are 30 hours except Course #4, which is 36 hours):

1. WHSC Level 1 Basic Occupational Health and Safety Awareness (no prerequisite)
2. WHSC Level 2 Law Provincial (WHSC Level 1 is a prerequisite)
3. Prevention Link – WSIB Level 1: Rights and Obligations and Level 2: Benefits and Services | No prerequisite
4. Prevention Link – ODRT WSIB Level 5 Medical Orientation* (Level 1 and 2 are prerequisites)
5. Organizing to Build Solidarity with Racialized Injured Workers | No prerequisite
6. Mental Health First Aid Certification (MHCC), and Anti-Racist Psychological H&S in the Workplace (no prerequisite)
