2025 Spring Eastern Ontario Health and Safety Labour Education at Isaiah Tubbs Resort, West Lake, Picton, ON

Wednesday, March 26 to March 30, 2025

All courses begin on the evening of Wednesday, March 26, 2025, immediately following the opening assembly at 7:30 pm (you must attend). Classes are held from 8:30 am to 5 pm from Thursday onward, except Sunday when they are from 9 am to noon. Please note there may be evening course work and general sessions which you may be required to attend.

Deadline for paid registration: February 28, 2025

1.WHSC Level 1 Basic Occupational Health and Safety Awareness (no prerequisite)
2.WHSC Level 2 Committees Provincial
3.Prevention Link – ODRT WSIB Level 1 & 2 | No prerequisite
4.Prevention Link – ODRT WSIB Level 4 Return to Work* (Level 1 and 2 are prerequisites)
5.Organizing to Build Solidarity with Racialized Injured Workers | No prerequisite
6.Mental Health First Aid Certification (MHCC), and Anti-Racist Psychological H&S in the Workplace (no prerequisite)

2024 Fall Eastern Ontario Health and Safety Labour Education at Isaiah Tubbs Resort, West Lake, Picton, ON

November 5 or 6 to November 10, 2024

Except for Course #4, which starts Tuesday, Nov 5, 2024, all courses begin on the evening of Wednesday, Nov 6, 2024 immediately following the opening assembly at 7:30 pm (you must attend). Classes are held from 8:30 am to 5 pm from Thursday onward, except Sunday when they are from 9 am to noon. Please note there may be evening course work and general sessions which you may be required to attend.

Deadline for paid registration: October 11, 2024.

KDLC Eastern Ontario Labour Education Fall 2023 Health and Safety/WSIB Activist School

The Kingston & District Labour Council’s Eastern Ontario Labour Health & Safety/Worker Compensation Educationals will be offering the following courses for Fall 2023. The school will be hosted at the Isaiah Tubbs Resort and Conference Centre in Picton, Ontario, on November 1-5, 2023. Registration deadline is October 13, 2023.
